Allpipe Technologies were approached by Emirge to investigate major ponding issues with storm water conduits at one of their construction sites.
To rectify the issue, our team inspected the site and identified pit locations. We then used our state of the art CCTV Cameras to inspect the condition of the storm water conduits and locate blockages and sediment.
We inspected 5 storm water conduits ranging from 150mm to 300mm in diameter and used a range of methods to clean the drains to allow for the storm water to flow at its full potential.
Our in-depth reporting analysed the condition of each of the conduits including information on the type of blockage, details on the extent of damage and the capacity at which the pipe was operating.
All the pits identified where holding 10-20% sediment at approximatley
500mm to 1000mm depth. Our CCTV camera imaging made it easy for us to locate the blockage and fix the issue then and there. We employed suction, water jetting and vacuum techniques to remove build up and sediment.
With our reporting, we were able to assess the damage and recommend correct methods of reparation for both the short and long term.
